Tomorrow, Los Hermanos Familia will participate in #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of unity in response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. As you know, we had to cancel a couple of events – the Adelante Awards which is our largest fundraiser of the year. Our programs help to “Strengthen Families, Build Community”, and are a tool to support families. Now more than ever, Los Hermanos Familia recognizes that we must sustain our programs and resources including our FREE bilingual digital library that we pride ourselves in being able to offer any child from kinder to seniors in high school, especially now while children are home and have the potential to lose 20% of their reading skills possibly for lack of reading materials. Los Hermanos Familia has made its educational tools available to all, for FREE. And we know that all work makes Jack and Jill a dull boy and dim girl, so please help us and support our 12th Annual “Vamos a Pescar, Let’s Go Fishing” FREE event that will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 – preregister at www.loshermanosfamilia.org/vamos-a-pescar-let-s-go-fishing.
